Police have arrested a 47 year old man for housebreaking along Mei Ling Street.
On 19 Jan 2015 at about 8.30 am, Police were alerted to a case of a break-in at Mei Ling Street where a radio and a a digital camera amounting to $450/= were stolen from a unit.
Through CCTV images obtained, officers from Clementi Police Division arrested him on the same day at about 11.00 pm at Stirling Road. A radio was seized as case exhibit.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 21 January 2015 for the offence of Housebreaking and Theft by Night under Section 457 of the Penal Code, which carries an imprisonment term of up to 14 years.
