Eight persons were arrested following a 16-hour joint enforcement operation on 22 September 2015.
The operation was jointly led by Ang Mo Kio Division, Central Narcotics Bureau Enforcement ‘F’ Division and supported by officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF). The officers conducted checks at public entertainment outlets and public housing estates in Ang Mo Kio, Hougang, Yishun, Serangoon and Sembawang.
In the operation, eight persons were arrested for suspected drug-related offences. In addition, eleven Public Entertainment outlets were checked and four of these outlets were found with fire safety violations.
Investigations are ongoing.
