    Man Arrested For Voluntarily Causing Hurt By Dangerous Weapon

    The Police have arrested a 41-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapon. 

    On 11 January 2020 at about 10pm, the Police were alerted to a fight at Woodlands Street 13. A man was found with wounds allegedly inflicted by the suspect with a knife.

    Through investigations and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Woodlands Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 13 January 2020.

    The man will be charged in court on 14 January 2020 with voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapon under Section 324 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. The offence carries an imprisonment term of up to 7 years, and a fine or caning, or both.
