(UPDATE) Electronic Submission via SONAR (for Form NP 728 only)

STRO will be implementing the STRO Online Notices and Reporting Platform (SONAR) to replace the existing e728 system, for electronic submission of Form NP 728 on 20 August 2018. SONAR only accepts a new version of the Form NP 728, which can be completed offline.

E728 is a free electronic service which provides a secure and expeditious way for online submission of the NP728 form. NP728 reports submitted via E728 are received by the Suspicious Transaction Reporting Office (STRO) instantaneously.


Any person who moves in or out of Singapore with CBNI exceeding S$20,000 or its equivalent in a foreign currency is required to give a report in respect of its movements to STRO


Providing false information to the Police in the e-application is an offence under section 182 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224
