Traffic Arrangements For Fire Walking Festival 2018

The Fire Walking Festival 2018 will be held on 28 October 2018. 

 

To facilitate the event, the following roads and lanes will be closed to vehicular traffic during the stipulated period:

Period of Closure

1. Temple Street

From 9am on 28 October 2018 to 7am on 29 October 2018

2. Mohamed Ali Lane

From 2pm on 28 October 2018 to 7am on 29 October 2018

3. Extreme right lane of Serangoon Road (between Hastings Road and Petain Road)

From 3pm on 28 October 2018 to 7am on 29 October 2018

4. 2 right lanes of Serangoon Road (between Sungei Road and Hastings Road)

5. Extreme right lane of Selegie Road (between Prinsep Street and Serangoon Road)

6.Extreme right lane of Prinsep Street in the direction of Selegie Road (between Bras Basah Road and Selegie Road)

7.Extreme right lane of Bras Basah Road (between Prinsep Street and North Bridge Road)

8.Extreme right lane of North Bridge Road (between Bras Basah Road and South Bridge Road)

9. 2 right lanes of South Bridge Road (between North Canal Road and Temple Street)

 

In addition, Upper Hokien Street and Mosque Street will become two-way roads from 2pm on 28 October 2018 to 7am on 29 October 2018.

 

During the closure, access will only be granted to police and emergency vehicles.  

 

Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced. Vehicles found parking and causing obstruction will be towed.
