A total of 56 persons were arrested for various offences in Geylang during an overnight multi-agency joint operation that ended on 27th February 2015.
2 The operation was led by Bedok Police Division and involved enforcement officers from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) and Health Sciences Authority (HSA).
3 The suspects, comprising 21 males and 35 females, aged between 18 to 73 years old, were arrested for various offences, including vice, drug-related offences, immigration offences and peddling of illegal sexual enhancement products.
4 Investigations against the suspects are on-going.
5 Commander of Bedok Police Division, Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Police Alvin Moh expressed his appreciation to all the agencies involved for their strong support and commended the officers for their professionalism and excellent teamwork which led to a successful operation.
