Police have arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected involvement in a case of Housebreaking and Theft by Night along Bukit Batok West Ave 8.
2 On 1 March 2015, Police received a report that a donation box containing cash was stolen from a temple located along Bukit Batok West Ave 8. Officers from Jurong Police Division carried out extensive investigations and arrested the suspect on 17 March 2015 at about 10.10pm along Boon Lay Drive.
3 The suspect will be charged in court on 19 March 2015 for Housebreaking and Theft by Night under Section 457 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 which is punishable with imprisonment for a term of up to 14 years and a fine.
