Police have arrested a 29-year-old man for suspected involvement in a case of Outrage of Modesty.
On 14 March 2015, a 25-year-old woman lodged a Police report informing that she had been molested by an unknown man at Blk 242 Yishun Ring Road.
Officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division conducted ground enquiries and arrested the suspect on 17 March 2015 at Blk 241 Yishun Ring Road.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 19 March 2015 for the offence of Use of Criminal Force to a Person with Intent to Outrage Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code Chapter 224, which carries a punishment of imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
