Police have arrested a 28-year-old man believed to be involved in several cases of Outrage of Modesty.
2. Since January 2015, Police had received reports of women being molested by an unidentified man at Sengkang and Punggol Estates.
3. Upon receiving the information, officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division responded to the case swiftly and conducted extensive ground enquiries. Their efforts paid off when they managed to establish the identity of the suspect and arrested him on 4 May 2015 along Sin Ming Road.
4. The suspect will be charged in Court on 6 May 2015. For the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, the suspect may be jailed up to 2 years, or fined and also be liable to caning, upon conviction.
