Police have arrested a 25-year-old man for suspected involvement in a series of housebreaking and theft at Rasok Dr, Sunset View and Holland Grove Dr.
2 Between 14 June and 16 June 2015, three cases of break-ins at these locations were reported to Police. Cash, laptop, camera, mobile phone, bicycle and tablets amounting to more than $13,000/- were found missing from the units. Following the reports, officers from Clementi and Jurong Police Division conducted extensive ground enquiries and managed to establish the identity of the suspect. On 16 June 2015 at about 2.15 pm, the suspect was arrested at Dover Road. Mobile phones, tablets and a bicycle were seized as case exhibits.
3 The suspect will be charged in Court on 18 June 2015 for the offence of Housebreaking and Theft by Night under Section 457 of the Penal Code, which carries an imprisonment term of up to 14 years.
