Police have arrested a 29-year-old man for the offence of Outrage of Modesty and Theft-in-Dwelling.
2 On 18 June 2015, a female victim called police after being molested by an unidentified man along Clementi Avenue 2. Upon receiving the report, officers from Clementi Police Division responded to the case and conducted intensive ground enquiries. Their efforts paid off when they managed to establish the identity of the suspect and arrested him on 22 June 2015 at Clementi Avenue 4. It is believed that he might also be involved in a case of shop theft at Clementi Avenue 2 on the same day.
3 The suspect will be charged in Court on 24 June 2015 for the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) and Theft-in-Dwelling under Section 380, Chapter 224 of the Penal Code.
