Police have arrested a 22-year-old man and 20-year-old woman for their suspected involvement in stealing a motorcycle.

On 29 July 2015 at about 7.00am, the victim discovered his motorcycle missing from a carpark along Klang Lane and reported the matter to the police.

Upon receipt of the report, officers from Central Division conducted extensive ground enquiries and in-depth investigations. With the aid of Police Cameras, the identities of the suspects were established and they were subsequently arrested along Spooner Road on 4 August 2015 at about 2.45pm.

The man will be charged in Court on 5 August 2015 while investigations against the woman are still ongoing. The offence of Theft of Motor Vehicle with Common Intention, under Section 379A read with Section 34 of the Penal Code, is punishable with a jail term of up to 7 years and a fine.
