Police have arrested a 23-year-old man for the offence of Outrage of Modesty.
On 20 October 2015, two cases of outrage of modesty were reported at a HDB block in the vicinity of Henderson Crescent. Upon receiving the information, officers from Clementi Police Division responded to the case swiftly and conducted intensive ground enquiries. Their efforts paid off when they managed to establish the identity of the suspect and arrested him on 21 October 2015 at Redhill Close.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 23 October 2015 for the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he is liable to imprisonment which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
