In a coordinated operation that took place between 9 and 10 December 2015, the Police arrested 41 persons who were wanted for various criminal offences. 

During the operation, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the six Police Land Divisions conducted multiple raids at various locations islandwide.  A total of 41 wanted persons, comprising 30 men and 11 women, were arrested for various offences including cheating, criminal breach of trust, housebreaking, unlicensed moneylending harassment, as well as drug-related offences. 

Investigations against those arrested are ongoing.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Investigations & Intelligence) concurrent Director CID Tan Chye Hee commended the officers for their teamwork and perseverance which resulted in these arrests. He said, “Police will continue with our relentless efforts to hunt down criminals who remain on the run and will spare no efforts to bring them to justice.”
