Police have arrested a 30-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Housebreaking and Theft by Night reported at Neythal Road Jurong Industrial Estate.

On 1 December at about 3.47 pm, Police received a report on a case of a break-in at a warehouse where 4 pallets of sanitary wares and fittings worth S$100,000/- were found stolen.

Through extensive ground enquiries, officers from the Jurong Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested him on 17 December 2015 at about 8.50 pm along Toa Payoh Lorong 5, with assistance from Tanglin Division officers.

The suspect will be charged in Court on 19 December 2015 for Housebreaking and Theft by Night under Section 457 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which is punishable with imprisonment for a term of up to 14 years and a fine.
