The Singapore Police Force (SPF) and MediaCorp are coming together once again to produce the fourth season of the highly-acclaimed television drama serial《警徽天职 C.L.I.F.》. Filming for《警徽天职 C.L.I.F. 4》will kick off in March 2016 and the drama is expected to air from 6 September 2016 to 3 October 2016, at 9pm on MediaCorp Channel 8. Viewers can expect 《警徽天职 C.L.I.F. 4》 to bring to the audience, the day-to-day and personal challenges faced by officers in key areas of police work such as the Community Policing Unit, Criminal Investigation Department, Commercial Affairs Department and Volunteer Special Constabulary.
Fans of this police drama will be happy to know that 《警徽天职 C.L.I.F. 4》will span over 20 episodes with the inclusion of real crime files dramatised for the small screen. There will also be more twists to the plot, promising more excitement than the first 3 seasons.
While the past three seasons focused on the work of investigators from the Criminal Investigation Department and frontline police officers, 《警徽天职 C.L.I.F. 4》will give viewers a glimpse into the work of officers from other departments such as the Commercial Affairs Department and the various Police Divisions. Viewers can expect to see how officers use their wit and intellect to work with the various departments and external agencies as they race against time tracking valuable leads to solve high profile cases. Some of the more significant cases that would be featured in the drama series include cyber extortion and money mule scams, which will serve to educate viewers about the prevalence of such crimes.
The key cast of 《警徽天职 C.L.I.F. 4》 have undergone ‘live’ firing training with weapons such as the 0.38 Taurus revolver. This allowed the artistes to have a feel of what a Police Officer is expected to go through, so as to allow them to portray one more realistically.
