The Police have arrested a 35-year-old man for his suspected involvement in several theft of motorcycles component parts cases.
On 20 March 2016, three motorcycle owners reported the thefts of their motorcycle parts at carparks located along Chai Chee and Sims Drive. Officers from Bedok Division established the identity of the suspect swiftly and arrested him on 7 April 2016.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 9 April 2016 with the offence of Theft of Motorcycle Component Parts under Section 379A of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. Persons convicted of this offence can be imprisoned for up to 7 years and shall be liable to a fine.
