The Police have arrested a fourth male suspect in connection with the case of armed robbery with hurt which occurred at the carpark of Blk 110 Aljunied Crescent on 5 November 2014.

With the assistance of the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP), the 31-year-old Malaysian suspect was arrested in Malaysia pursuant to a warrant of arrest issued by the State Courts, and handed over to the Singapore Police Force on 14 April 2016. He will be charged in Court on 15 April 2016 at 9.00am with the offence of Armed Robbery with Hurt under Section 394 read with Section 397 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Investigations & Intelligence) concurrent Director of the Criminal Investigation Department, Tan Chye Hee, said, “I would like to thank the Royal Malaysia Police for their strong support for this case. This serious crime occurred in November 2014 and the RMP pressed on with their efforts to locate the suspect. With the invaluable assistance from our foreign law enforcement partners, the Police will continue with our relentless efforts to ensure that criminals who remain on the run will be brought back to justice.”
