Hivelocity Events Pte Ltd, on behalf of Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), is organising the Car-Free Sunday SG on Sunday, 24 April 2016.

 

2          To facilitate the event, the following roads and lanes will be closed to vehicular traffic during the stipulated period on 24 April 2016:

  1. 2 right lanes of Fullerton Road in the direction of Collyer Quay (between Esplanade Drive and Collyer Quay)
  2. 3 right lanes of Collyer Quay in the direction of Fullerton Road (between Fullerton Road and Raffles Quay)
  3. 4 right lanes of Raffles Quay in the direction of Shenton Way (between Collyer Quay and Shenton Way)
  4. 4 right lanes of Shenton Way in the direction of Maxwell Road (between Raffles Quay and Maxwell Road)
  5. 2 right lanes of Maxwell Road in the direction of Shenton Way (between Robinson Road and Shenton Way)
  6. 3 right lanes of Robinson Road in the direction of Collyer Quay (between Maxwell Road and Collyer Quay)
  7. 2 right lanes of Collyer Quay in the direction of Raffles Quay (between Robinson Road and Fullerton Road)
  8. Maxwell Link
  9. Telegraph Street

From 5.00 am to 11.15 pm

  1. Connaught Drive

From 5.00 am to 7.00 pm

  1. Fullerton Road (between Collyer Quay and Esplanade Drive)

  3. St Andrew’s Road (between Parliament Place and Stamford Road)
  4. Parliament Place (between Supreme Court Lane and St Andrew’s Road)

  6. Fullerton Road (between Esplanade Drive and Connaught Drive)
  7. 2 left lanes of Stamford Road (between Connaught Drive and StAndrew’s Road)

From 6.00 am to 12.30 pm

  1. McCallum Street
  2. Boon Tat Street
  3. Cross Street
  4. Finlayson Green

From 7.00 am to 11.15 am

 

3          Please refer to Annex A for the map of the roads and lanes which will be closed.  

 

4          Auxiliary police officers will be deployed to regulate traffic and assist motorists. Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced. Vehicles found parking indiscriminately or causing obstruction will be towed.

 

5          During the closures, access into the abovementioned roads and lanes will only be granted to police and emergency vehicles.
