The Police have arrested a 23-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of motor vehicle theft along Killiney Road.
On 19 April 2016 at about 6.15 am, a 33-year-old man reported that his lorry was stolen from Killiney Road. Through extensive ground enquiries, officers from Tanglin Division managed to establish the identity of the suspect and arrested him at Yishun Road on 29 April 2016.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 30 April 2016 with the offence of Theft of Motor Vehicle punishable under Section 379A of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries a maximum jail term of seven years’ imprisonment and shall also be liable to a fine.
