Eleven subjects were arrested following a 16 hour joint enforcement operation that was conducted from 25 to 26 May 2016.
The operation was jointly led by Ang Mo Kio Division and Central Narcotics Bureau Enforcement “F” Division, and supported by officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF). During the operation, the officers conducted checks at public housing estates, massage establishments and F&B outlets in Sembawang, Ang Mo Kio, Hougang, and Punggol.
Eight subjects comprising seven men and one woman were arrested for drug-related offences while three other women were arrested under the Provision of the Women’s Charter.
Investigations are ongoing.
