The Police have arrested 3 men, aged between 38 and 52, believed to be involved in a case of Robbery with Hurt along Neil Road.
On 22 June 2016 at about 3.10 am, Police received a report about a man who was punched in the face, and robbed of cash and a mobile phone by 3 unknown men.
Officers from Central Division conducted extensive ground enquiries to establish the identities of the suspects and arrested them along Jalan Bukit Merah within 24 hours from the time of the report.
The three suspects will be charged in Court on 24 June 2016 with the offence of Robbery with Hurt under Section 394 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, they face jail term which may extend to not less than 5 years and not more than 20 years, and shall also be punished with caning with not less than 12 strokes.
