The Police have arrested a 58-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Outrage of Modesty.
On 19 June 2016, the victim reported to the Police that she was molested by a man at a supermarket at Ang Mo Kio Hub. Officers from Ang Mo Kio Division conducted investigations to establish the identity of the suspect and arrested him on 26 June 2016.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 28 June 2016 with the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries a punishment of imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
