The Police have arrested a 35-year-old suspect who is believed to be involved in a case of housebreaking and theft at a handphone shop along Yishun Ave 5.

 

On 2 July 2016 at about 10.00am, the staff of a handphone shop discovered that his shop had been broken into and four mobile phones valued at more than S$3500 were missing.

 

Officers from Ang Mo Kio Division conducted extensive ground enquiries to establish the identity of the suspect and arrested him along Senoko Crescent on 11 July 2016 at about 11.00pm.

 

The suspect will be charged in Court on 13 July 2016 with an offence of Housebreaking and Theft by Night under Section 457 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which is punishable with imprisonment for a term of up to 14 years imprisonment.
