The Police have arrested a 16-year-old youth for his suspected involvement in a case of Theft of Motor Vehicle.
On 25 June 2016 at about 5.00 pm, a 48-year-old victim reported that his motorcycle was stolen from a Multi-storey Car Park at Marsiling Drive. The stolen motorcycle was subsequently recovered by the police along Marsiling Drive on the same day at about 9.13 pm.
Through extensive ground enquiries and with the aid of police cameras, officers from the Jurong Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested him at Blk 128, Marsiling Rise on 11 July 2016 at about 3.00 pm.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 13 July 2016 with an offence of Theft of Motor Vehicle under Section 379A of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries a maximum jail term of seven years and shall also be liable to a fine.
