The Police have arrested two subjects aged 14 and 15 for a case of housebreaking and theft by night with common intention.
On 6 August 2016 at about 3.50 pm, the Police received a report of a break in at a coffee shop located at Blk 710 Clementi West St 2.
Following the report, officers from Clement Division conducted extensive ground enquires and follow-up investigation and managed to establish the identities of the suspects. On 7 August 2016 at about 10.45 am, the two suspects were arrested in the vicinity of Clementi West St 2.
The two subjects will be charged in Court on 8 August 2016 with the offence of Housebreaking and Theft by night with common intention under Section 457 read with Section 34 Of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, they face a jail term which may extend to 14 years.
