The Police have arrested a 19 year-old man for his suspected involvement in a series of Theft of Motorcycle Component parts cases reported at Bedok Reservoir estate.
For the past few months, Police had received several reports whereby motorcycle component parts were stolen from the motorcycles parked in Bedok. Through extensive ground enquiries, officers from Bedok Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested him on 25 August 2016.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 26 August 2016 with the offence of Theft of Motorcycle Component Parts under Section 379A of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries a maximum jail term of seven years, and shall also be liable to a fine.
