The Police have arrested two men, aged 28 and 41, for their suspected involvement in a case of robbery with hurt at Guillemard Road.
On 25 August 2016 at about 11.50pm, a 26 year-old man reported to the Police that he had been assaulted and robbed of his bag by two men at Guillemard Road.
Through extensive ground enquiries and the aid of Police cameras (POLCAMs), officers from Bedok Division established the identities of the suspects and arrested them at about 4pm the next day.
Both suspects will be charged in Court on 27 August 2016 with an offence of Robbery with Hurt under Section 394 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries an imprisonment term of not less than five years and not more than 20 years and shall also be punished with caning of not less than 12 strokes.
