The Singapore Police Force, together with the Singapore Civil Defence Force and members of the Safety and Security Watch Group , will conduct an emergency preparedness exercise codenamed ‘Exercise Heartbeat’ on Friday, 2 September 2016 at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay. The Exercise will take place from 8.30am to 11.00am.
Signages indicating ‘Exercise-In-Progress’ will be on display, and cordons will be set up within the exercise venue. Blanks, thunder flashes and fire and smoke simulators will be used during the Exercise. Members of the public are advised not to be alarmed by the loud sounds and exercise activities.
Exercise Heartbeat will help our business community prepare for terrorist attack scenarios. Members of the public may call the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000 if they have further queries. Together, we can keep Singapore safe and secure.
