The Police have arrested a 32-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Theft of Motor Vehicle.
On 22 August 2016 at about 8.30 pm, a 42-year-old man reported that his motorcycle was stolen along Old Jurong Rd. The stolen motorcycle was recovered a distance away on the same day.
Through extensive investigations and ground enquiries, officers from the Jurong Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested him along Woodlands Street 32 on 19 October 2016.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 21 October 2016 with an offence of Theft of Motor Vehicle under Section 379A of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. Upon conviction, he faces an imprisonment for a term which may extend to 7 years, and shall also be liable to fine.
