The Police have arrested a 43-year-old man who is believed to be involved in a case of Snatch Theft at Lorong 15 Geylang.
On 18 November 2016 at about 7.53 am, a 38-year-old male victim reported to the Police that his mobile phone was snatched by a man at Lorong 15 Geylang. Officers from Bedok Division conducted extensive ground enquiries and arrested the suspect in the vicinity of Lorong 18 Geylang at 2.45pm on the same day. A mobile phone was seized as case exhibit.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 19 November 2016 with the offence of Snatch Theft under Section 356 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 punishable with imprisonment for a term of not less than one year and not more than 7 years, and shall also be liable to canning.
