The Police have arrested a man for unlawful entry into Singapore on 13 December 2016.
On 13 December 2016 at about 9.42pm, the Police Coast Guard detected a floating object believed to be a swimmer at the sea off Charcoal Jetty, Kranji heading towards Singapore waters. Following the detection, both land and sea resources were deployed to apprehend the swimmer. At about 10.03pm, a 32-year-old man was swiftly intercepted and arrested for unlawful entry into Singapore under the Immigration Act, Chapter 133.
