The Police have arrested a 62-year-old man for his suspected involvement in two cases of Housebreaking Defu Industrial Park.
Between on 9and 16 December 2016, the Police were alerted to two cases of break-ins at the factories located at Defu Industrial Park where cash amounting to S$200 and RM1500 were stolen.
Through extensive ground enquiries, officers from Ang Mo Kio Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested him on 19 December 2016.
The suspect will be charged in the Courts on 21 December 2016 with the offence of Housebreaking & Theft by Night under Section 457 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which is punishable with imprisonment for a term of not less than 2 years and not more than 14 years, and shall also be liable to fine.
