The Police have arrested two men aged 25 and 28 for their suspected involvement in a case of robbery at Bukit Batok Street 25.
On 18 December 2016 at about 9.20 pm, the 32-year-old victim was at the void deck of a flat at Bukit Batok Street 25 when two unknown men robbed him of his handphone.
On receiving the report, officers from Jurong Division conducted extensive probes to establish the identities of the suspects and arrested them along Bukit Batok Street 25 on 22 December 2016.
Both suspects will be charged in Court on 24 December 2016 with the offence of Robbery With Common Intention under Section 392 read with Section 34 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries a punishment of imprisonment for a term of not less than 3 years old and not more than 14 years and caning of not less than 12 strokes.
