The Police have arrested a 40-year-old man for his suspected involvement in several cases of Criminal Trespass and Theft from Vehicle.
Between 13 and 22 December 2016, the Police received three reports of Criminal Trespass and Theft from Vehicle along Phillips Avenue and Chuan Walk.
Upon receipt of the reports, officers from Ang Mo Kio Division conducted extensive follow-up investigations to identify the suspect, and arrested him on 23 December 2016.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 24 Dec 2016 with the offence of Theft from Vehicle under Section 379 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries an imprisonment term of not more than 3 years, or with fine, or with any combination of such punishments.
