The Police have arrested two youths, for their suspected involvement in several cases of theft at a shopping mall along Tampines Central 1.

 

On 29 December 2016 at about 7.16am, Police received a report informing that a shop at the shopping mall had been broken into. With the aid of images from Police cameras (POLCAMs), the identities of the suspects were established and they were arrested on 29 December 2016 along Victoria Street.  The youths are also believed to be involved in several other cases of theft at shopping malls located in Tampines, Yishun and Harbourfront.

 

The youths will be charged in Court on 31 December 2016 with the offence of Theft in dwelling with common intention under Section 380 read with Section 34 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries an imprisonment term which may extend to 7 years, and shall also be liable to fine.
