The Police have arrested a 47-year-old man for suspected involvement in a case of House Trespass to commit Theft.
On 6 January 2017 at about 12.14pm, Police received a report that a man had been seen in a unit located along West Coast Crescent to commit theft. The man fled upon being spotted.
Officers from Clementi Division conducted extensive ground enquiries and investigations to identify the suspect who was arrested along West Coast Crescent at about 3.15pm on the same day.
Police investigations are ongoing. The offence of House Trespass in order to commit Theft under Section 451 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 carries an imprisonment term which may extend to 7 years and a fine.
