The Police have arrested a 39-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Distributing Obscene Images and intentionally causing alarm.

On 5 January 2017, the Police commenced investigations into a Facebook post on a person who claimed to have had sexual intercourse with a six-year-old girl.

On 9 January 2017, officers from Bedok Division arrested the 39-year-old suspect at his residence in Jurong West. Investigations against the suspect are still ongoing.
