The Police have arrested a 43-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of snatch theft at Blk 103 Gangsa Rd.
On 12 February 2017 at about 3am, a 47-year-old victim reported to the Police that a man had snatched his sling bag. Through extensive ground enquiries and with the aid of images from Police cameras (POLCAM), officers from Jurong Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested him on 1 March 2017.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 3 March 2017 with an offence of Snatch Theft under Section 356 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 which is punishable with imprisonment for a term of not less than one year and not more than 7 years and shall also be liable to caning.
