The Police have arrested a 37-year-old man for suspected involvement in a Housebreaking and Theft case.

 

On 2 May 2017, Police received a report that a unit located along Balestier Road had been broken into. Cash, electronic devices, watches, jewelry and other valuables with an estimated value of about $26,000 were found missing from the unit.

 

Officers from Tanglin Police Division conducted extensive investigations and established the identity of the suspect, who was arrested along Teban Gardens Road on 9 May 2017.

 

The suspect will be charged in Court on 11 May 2017 with the offence of Housebreaking and Theft under Section 454 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries a maximum imprisonment term of 10 years.
