The Police have arrested a 33-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Outrage of Modesty.
On 25 July 2017 at about 8:53am, a 23-year-old female victim informed the Police that she had been molested by a man on board a train travelling from Stadium MRT Station towards Nicoll Highway MRT station. The suspect was subsequently arrested at Nicoll Highway MRT station on the same day.
Investigations against the man are ongoing. For the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code Chapter 224, the man may be jailed for up to two years, or fined, and is also liable to caning.
