The Police have arrested a 32-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of theft of motorcycle.
On 20 July 2017, the police received a report of a motorcycle being stolen from the car park of Blk 605 Hougang Avenue 4. Upon receipt of the report, officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division conducted extensive ground enquiries and established the identity of the suspect. He was arrested on 27 July 2017 along Sentosa Gateway. The stolen motorcycle was also recovered along Seah Im Road.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 29 July 2017 with an offence of Theft of Motor Vehicle under Section 379A of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he faces a maximum jail term of 7 years and shall also be liable to a fine.
