The Police have arrested a 46-years-old man who is believed to be involved in a case of snatch theft at at No.30 Sembawang Drive.
On 30 October 2017 at about 5.30 pm, a 40-year-old woman reported that a man had snatched her handphone. Officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division conducted extensive ground enquiries and arrested the suspect on 1 November 2017 along West Coast Drive.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 3 November 2017 with the offence of Snatch Theft under Section 356 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he will be punished with an imprisonment for a term of not less than one year and not more than 7 years, and shall also be liable to caning.
