The Police have arrested a 36-year-old man who is believed to be involved in a case of Snatch Theft.
On 2 January 2018 at about 10am, a woman reported that a man had snatched her mobile phone along Geylang Lorong 25.
Officers from Bedok Police Division conducted extensive ground enquiries and established the identity of the man with the aid of Police Cameras (POLCAM). On 5 January 2018 the man was arrested along Serangoon Avenue 3.
The man will be charged in Court on 6 January 2018 with the offence of Snatch Theft under Section 356 of the Penal Code, which carries an imprisonment term of not less than one year and not more than 7 years, and shall also be liable to caning.
