The Police have arrested a 23-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of attempted robbery along Sentosa Gateway.
On 17 February 2018 at about 6.20 am, a 34-year-old woman reported that an unknown man had attempted to rob her when she was waiting for a taxi.
Officers from Clementi Police Division conducted extensive ground enquiries. With the aid of CCTV images, the officers established the identity of the suspect and arrested him on 22 February 2018.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 23 Feb 2018 with the offence of Attempted Robbery under Section 393 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries a punishment of imprisonment for a term of not less than 2 years and not more than 7 years and caning of not less than 6 strokes.
