The police have arrested a 48-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of attempted robbery along Beo Crescent.

 

On 11 March 2018 at about 11.15pm, a 20-year-old woman reported that an unknown man had attempted to rob her while she was studying at the location.

 

Through extensive ground enquiries and with the aid of CCTV images, officers from Tanglin Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 12 March 2018.

 

The man will be charged in Court on 14 March 2018 with the offence of Attempted Robbery under Section 393 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 which is punishable with an imprisonment term of not less than 2 years and not more than 7 years, and caning of not less than 6 strokes.
