The Police have arrested a 53-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Attempted Robbery along Bedok Reservoir Road.
On 25 March 2018 at about 9.15 am, the Police received a report that a man allegedly tried to snatch a woman’s money at an ATM machine located at Blk 745 Bedok Reservoir Road.
Officers from Bedok Police Division attended to the case and conducted extensive ground enquiries. With the aid of police cameras, the officers established the identity of the man and arrested him at Blk 740 Bedok Reservoir Road on the same day at about 10.40 am.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 26 March 2018 with the offence of Attempted Robbery under Section 393 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which is punishable with imprisonment for a term of not less than 2 years and not more than 10 years, and caning of not less than 6 strokes.
