Swift Arrest Of Teenager For Criminal Trespass And Theft Of Bicycle

The Police have arrested a 16-year-old teenager for his suspected involvement in a case of criminal trespass and theft of bicycle.

On 19 March 2019 at about 12:10 pm, the Police received a report that a bicycle was missing from a residential unit along Verde Grove.  

Through extensive ground enquiries, officers from Jurong Police Division located the teenager and arrested him within three hours after the report was lodged.

Investigations are ongoing. Anyone convicted for criminal trespass shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to $1,500, or with both. Anyone convicted for theft shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both.
