The Police have arrested an 18-year-old male teenager for his suspected involvement in a case of robbery.
On 4 June 2020 at 5.53 p.m, the Police received a report from an 18-year-old male victim that he was robbed of cash amounting to $130 by an unknown man along Lorong 1 Toa Payoh.
Through investigations and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Tanglin Police Division established the identity of the teenager and arrested him on 5 June 2020 along Bedok North Street 3.
The teenager will be charged in court on 6 June 2020 with robbery under Section 392 of the Penal Code, which carries an imprisonment term of not less than 2 years and not more than 10 years and caning of not less than 6 strokes.
