The Police have arrested a 55-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.
On 22 March 2022 at 11.05 am, the Police received a report that a woman was molested by a man along Holland Drive. Through ground enquiries and with the aid of Police cameras, officers from Clementi Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on the same day at 5.50pm.
The man will be charged in court with one count of outrage of modesty on 23 March 2022. The offence of outrage of modesty, under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code 1871, carries an imprisonment term of up to three years, or with a fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
